Treatment for teens (all permanent teeth are erupted)
Orthodontic treatment is traditionally done during the teenage years. This allows the orthodontist to take advantage of the pubertal growth spurt. Adolescence also brings the highest velocity of permanent tooth movement allowing the duration of treatment to be kept to a minimum. Treatment times typically range from 18-30 months.
