In September 2017, the TGO team lost a very dear and valuable member of the team.

Quinton Ryan had worked at TGO for 17 years. He was part of the family and loved by the team and patients alike.

Tragically, in September 2017 after suffering an acute epileptic attack and being alone for several hours with no medical help, he sadly passed away.

To commemorate Quinton and to raise awareness on epilepsy, the TGO team held a week long fundraiser for Epilepsy Awareness from March 19th to March 26th. Global News did a local story on this initiative on March 26th, 2018.

The hope is that with increased awareness and funding, progress and improved treatments can be attained for this serious condition.
